District Collector

I am M.S. Madhavikutty, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2018 batch belonging to the Kerala cadre. Hailing from Kollam, I have served in various administrative roles, contributing to public service and the development of Kerala.

Throughout my career, I have worked as Assistant Collector of Ernakulam, Sub-Collector of Thiruvananthapuram, and District Development Commissioner of Kozhikode. I have also served as Deputy Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department and as Chief Executive Officer of Cyberpark. Before taking charge as District Collector of Kozhikode on 25 May 2026, I served as District Collector of Palakkad.

My priorities include the welfare and safety of women, children, transgender persons, and senior citizens. I am also committed to monsoon preparedness, National Highway development, effective waste management, and the overall development of the district.

I believe in responsive administration, inclusive development, and public welfare, with a commitment to addressing people’s concerns and improving the quality of life for all sections of society.
