The Tali temple was built by the Zamorin, Swamy Thirumulpad within his palace premises in the 14th century. It is an ideal example of the architecture which involves wood and laterite work. The intricate brass relief on the walls of the shrine and the elaborate brass carvings on the wooden roof are quite fascinating.
